Convergys to keep New Glasgow call centre open

Convergys says it has secured enough new contracts to keepits New Glasgow, N.S., call centreopen.

It was set to closelater this month, throwing300 people out of work.

Convergyshas been inNew Glasgowsince 2001.

The company closed itsDartmouth call centre in 2013, affecting more than 130 employees. It closed its Cornwallis centre in 2010.
