Musician Keith Mullins says this couple from Texas made his night, boogeying down to his tunes at the Inverary Resort in Baddeck, N.S.

A video of an elderly Texan couple cutting a rug while on vacation in Nova Scotia is lighting up the internet, showing what it meansto be young at heart.

Cape Breton musician Keith Mullins was playing at the Inverary Resortin Baddeck, N.S., when the couple walked into the restaurant. They told him they werefrom Texas and on vacation.

"They said, 'Is there any way we can just order water?Because we're here to dance,'" Mullinstold CBC News.

"I said, 'Yeah, let's make thathappen.'So I talked to the waitress and they danced for about four or five songs."

Mullins was so impressed with their youthful energy he asked the waitress to capture their dancing while he performed a cover of Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.Mullins was playing one-man-band style, singing while playing guitar, drum, tambourine and harmonica all at once.

He said he didn't catch the full names of the couple, just that they were Burt and Carol and seemed to be in their 80s.

"He said he grew up in a trailer park and he's been dancing since he was 14 years old," Mullins said.

"And he's been on his feet ever since, he said."

Mullins' video of the dancers has been watched more than 100,000 times on Facebook, and he's glad it's making people's day since it made his night as a musician. Burt said he had a grand time, too.

"He came up to me and gave me a $5 US tip at the end of the night and he said it made his night," Mullins said.
