N.S. reports 18 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday

With 18 new cases of COVID-19 reported Friday, the province now has 199 active cases.

Nova Scotia reported 18new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the active caseload to 199.

Fourteen people werein hospital with COVID-19, including onein intensive care.

As of Friday, 76.7per cent of Nova Scotians had received two doses of vaccine.

Labs processed 3,697COVID-19 tests on Thursday.

Atlantic Canada COVID-19 case numbers

  • New Brunswickreported 87new cases on Fridayand twodeaths.The province had1,064active cases with 60people in hospital, including 18people in intensive care.
  • Newfoundland and Labradorreported four new cases, 53 active cases and nine people in hospital in Friday's update.
  • Prince Edward Islandreported three new cases on Friday. The province had seven active cases.
