Nova Scotia reported 31new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, bringing the active number of cases to 171. Ten people are in hospital, including one person in ICU.

Nova Scotia reported 31new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, bringing the active number of cases in the province to 171.

Seventeenof the new cases are in the central zone, eightare in the western zone, three are in the eastern zone and threeare in the northern zone.

Of the 31 new cases, 16 are children 11 and under.

Ten people are in hospital because of COVID-19, including one person who is in intensive care.

Nova Scotia's health authority completed 2,853tests Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Rocky Lake Elementary School in Bedford, N.S.,was notified of an exposureat the school. A full list of all school exposures is here.

Atlantic Canada case numbers

  • New Brunswickreported 69 new cases and two deaths on Thursday. The province has 549 active cases and 31 people hospitalized, including 16 in intensive care.
  • Newfoundland and Labradorreported 20 new cases Wednesday and a death. The province has 101active cases.
  • Prince Edward Islandreported two new cases Wednesday, marking the only active cases on the Island.
