Dartmouth fire forces tenants from building

Fire forced the evacuation of a four-storey apartment building in Dartmouth around 9 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters were called to the building on Parker St.after a fire started on the building's top floor.One person was taken to hospital with first-degree burns.The fire was contained less than an hour later.

Around 100residents are expected to be able to return to their homes before midnight.
