The Halifax Regional Centre for Education previously said"higher than acceptable levels" of asbestos were found in two classrooms under construction.

On Tuesday, the centre said it received confirmation from the Labour Department and a third-party expert that all tests conducted came back clear.

The school closed Thursday, and its 408 students in pre-primary to Grade 9remained home until Tuesday.
