The Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation has been around for as long as the hospital has:40 years.

In that time, it hasraised well over $40 million to enhance the care of patients.

The impact is felt in every corner of the hospital, from CT scannersto portable ultrasoundsto surgical-assist armsto comfort carts, blanket warmers and much more. It has funded renovations, equipment and many innovation projects.

The foundation is holding its 31st Annual Lobster Dinner and Auction on June 4at the Dartmouth Sportsplex.

This is a "Down East"lobster feed that you can wear jeans to.

The CBC Nova Scotia Do Crew will be helping with registration for the live auction, and be runners for it as well. (They'll also get a feed of lobster, which is quite a bonus!)
