Dozens more catch swine flu in N.S.

Nova Scotiais seeing another spike in swineflu cases.

The reported number of confirmed casesclimbed to 282 on Monday, up from 210 just four days earlier. Eight people have been treated in hospital.

Last week, provincial health officials said the fluis still spreading in Nova Scotia and people need to take precautions, such as staying home if they have flu-like symptoms.

Officials said there have been more severe cases, though most continue to belike the typical flu.

Officials plan to update their statisticsevery Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
