Hundreds of security experts from around the globe will be in Halifax this weekend for the sixth-annual International Security Forum.

Hundreds of security experts from around the globe will be in Halifax this weekend for the sixth-annualInternational Security Forum.

Among the 300 participants will be U.S. Senator John McCain, Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, andEhudBarak, former prime minister of Israel.

They will discuss,on andoff the record, the threat of theIslamic State in Iraq and Syria, the spread of Ebola, and renewed armed conflicts, along with views onCanadian and American leadership to address these crises.

The conference runs Nov. 21-23.
