One of the new food shacks on the Halifax waterfront is the dream of two Nova Scotia men who love the sizzle, the smell and taste of bacon.

Everything on the menu at Canadian Bacon Cookhouse, or CBC for short, centres around bacon right down to dessert.

"Bacon is delish, it's a scientific fact," said co-owner Mike Kennedy.

Michael Parcon and Kristie Lang were running along the waterfront when the smell of bacon wafting from the shack was too tempting to pass up.

"I was so excited that when were were running along the waterfront, I just had to stop and try some bacon. I know this probably isn't great running [food] but I don't really care," said Lang.

Both Parcon and Langopted for the chocolate-bacon lollipop.

"I headed straight for it with my money... I want it," said Teddy Warmink, whos visiting from Alberta.

She opted for the chocolate-covered bacon lollipop.

"Who doesn't love chocolate? And everyone loves bacon, so two cametogether," said co-owner Louis Brill.
