Police charge man with attempted murder after Halifax shooting

A 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting in Halifax's north end last week.

Charge relates to shooting on Rosemeade Avenue on Sept. 5

A 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting innorth-end Halifax last week.

Halifax Regional Police were called to the 3600 block of Rosemeade Avenue around 7:30 a.m. AT on Sept. 5 after receiving a report of aninjured person.

In a news release Wednesday, police said they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect was scheduled to appear inprovincial court to face a charge of attempted murder.
