3 injured in single-vehicle crash in Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left three people injured in Dartmouth Wednesday evening.

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left threepeople injured in Dartmouth Wednesday evening.

Police and emergency services responded to the crash at Woodland Avenue and Mic Mac Boulevard at 7:42 p.m.

In a release, Halifax Regional Police said the vehiclecrashed intoa utility pole andalcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident. Three adults, a 28-year-old man and two women 23 and 31 were taken to hospital.

The man was driving the car and had serious, but not life threatening injuries, while the women had minor injuries.

Halifax police said impaired driving charges are pending.

All traffic on Woodland Avenue and Mic Mac Boulevard onto the 118 Highway outbound wasstopped anddiverted for a time.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at or Crime Stoppers.
