Halifax Regional Police investigate south end prowler

A woman reported that a man she didn't know was standing outside her home on Harvey Street about a week and a half after he followed and harassed her, police say.

Police say there was a trespassing incident the night of Feb. 22 on Harvey Street in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police are looking for any information about a prowler incident in that happened in the city's south end on Feb. 22.

A woman reported that a man she didn't know was standing outside her home on Harvey Street about a week and a half after he followed and harassed her, police say.

They responded around 11:25 p.m. and later arrested a man for questioning. He was taken into custody and released without charges.

A short time later, officers found a man fitting the complainant's description. He was taken into custody for questioning and later released without charges.

Policenow say they are looking for a suspect that isdescribed as six-feet-one-inch tall, with a pale complexion, a round face and glasses. He's believed to be between 30 and 40 years old.

They're asking anyone with information or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to call 902-490-5016 or send an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477or by texting a tip with "Tip 202" plus a message to 274637.
