Lauryn Hill to headline TD Halifax Jazz Festival in July

Lauryn Hill will be headlining the TD Halifax Jazz Festival in July with a performance on the waterfront.

A release about the performance was leaked and posted on social media Saturday. It says Hill is scheduled to perform July 12.

The multi-Grammy award winning artist, a former member of the Fugees, has several Canadian dates leading up to the stop in Halifax.

According to the leaked release, tickets will go on sale Thursday and they'll cost $68.

The jazz festival runs July 12 to 17 and is celebrating its 30th year.
