Maritimes getting heavy snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and rain

A powerful winter storm will impact the Maritimes SundayandMonday, with heavy snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, and rain all expected for various parts of the region.

Powerful northerly winds will accompany the systemon Sundayand continue intoMonday.

Travel will be hazardouson Sunday, with impacts to flights and ferries beinglikely.Power outages will also be possible due to the high winds.
