Motorcyclist dies in Highway 7 crash

A motorcycle rider is dead after he tried to avoid a turning vehicle and lost control on Highway 7 near East Preston on Tuesday afternoon, say police.

The RCMP said road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.

The rider suffered life-threatening injuries and later diedin hospital.

The victm is the fourteenth person to die on Nova Scotias roads so far this month.

Police are urgingmotorists to slow down.
