One person dead after Hants County garage fire, say RCMP

One person is dead after a fire inside a garage in Hants County this morning, say RCMP.

Police say 2 children escaped unharmed from property on South Rawdon Road

One person is dead after a fire inside a garage in Hants County on Monday morning.

RCMPsaid they were called to the scene at 9:12 a.m. They have provided few details but confirmed the fatality to CBC News.

Cpl. Jennifer Clarke said two children from an adjacent home on the South Rawdon Road escaped unharmed from the property.

The fire is under investigation.
