A trough of low pressure now forming over the Great Lakes will swing into the Maritimes today bringing another bout of snow to much of the area.

However, Maritimers can look forward to somemilder temperatures. Nova Scotiais also expecting some showers overnight tonight.

This feature will virtually stall over the region as another noreaster develops off the American seaboard off the coast of the Carolinas and moves in our direction to cross over eastern Nova Scotia Thursday night into Friday morning. It will take pretty much the same track as our most recent storm.

That all adds up to more snow for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

However, indications are that Nova Scotia has a greater probability of rain from this next storm on Thursday with a return to some snow as the colder air moves in in the wake of the system Thursday night into Friday morning.

Temperatures will be above the normal on Thursday, due to the storm and itssoutherly wind, but turn colder in its wake on Friday.

At this time it looks like fair but colder weather for the weekend.
