Company is also pulling out of the fuel business

Scotsburn Co-operative Services is dumping its fuel operations to another company and shifting its attention back on its ice cream and dairy work.

The business change also includes the end of the companysstore in Scotsburn, N.S. In a release, the company said the retail store is closing on June 1 and products will be moved to the Pictou County Co-Op store.

The fuel division is being taken over by Parkland Industries. Scotsburn says customers wont be disrupted by the switch.

All of these changes are being made to keep the company competitive in its dairy branches, according to the release.
