Sidney Crosby Hockey School returns to the ice in Cole Harbour

For the second straight year, young hockey players are getting the chance to refine their skills from one of the game's best-known and best-loved Canadian players.

Sidney Crosby is running his annual hockey school in his hometown of Cole Harbour, N.S., from July 11 to 15.

For 160 young hockey players, the camp is an opportunity to refine stick handling skills, practice skating drills, and, of course, meet the NHL star himself.

Photos and videos on Twitter show young hockey players from all over Canada, and even from as far away as Norway,taking part in the camp.

The camp is an initiative of the Sidney Crosby Foundation, which financially assists charities that improve the lives of disadvantaged children.

To celebrate the PittsburghPenguins' 2016 Stanley Cup win, Crosbyandthe Stanley Cup will be in town for a parade through ColeHarbour on Saturday.

Rain or shine, the parade is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.at the St. John XXIIIParishin Cole Harbour.

From 11:15 a.m. until 1 p.m., Crosbyand other guest speakers will show off the StanleyCup at Cole Harbour Place arena.

Halifax Transit is offering free shuttles to and from the event to help reduce traffic congestion.
