Nova Scotia

Tuesday

6 p.m.: Periods of snow in the Annapolis Valley, and Digby/Yarmouth/Shelburne Counties. Winds south/southeast with gusts 20 to 30 km/h.

8 p.m.: Snow along and west of a line from Kentville to Halifax. Winds southeast with gusts 20 to 40 km/h.

10 p.m.: Snow along and west of a line from Amherst to Sheet Harbour. Winds east with gusts 30 to 50 km/h.

Wednesday

12 a.m.: Snow along and west of a line from New Glasgow to Sherbrooke. Winds east and northeast with gusts 30 to 50 km/h.

2 a.m.: Snow, heavy at times, across mainland Nova Scotia. Winds northeast with gusts 30 to 50 km/h except northwest with gusts 40 to 60 km/h in Digby/Yarmouth/Shelburne Counties.

4 a.m.: Snow spreading across Cape Breton. Snow, heavy at times, across mainland Nova Scotia. Winds northeast with gusts 30 to 50 km/h except northwest with gusts 50 to 70 km/h in the Annapolis Valley and South Shore.

6 a.m.: Snow, heavy at times, across Nova Scotia except beginning to ease in Digby/Yarmouth/Shelburne Counties. Winds northeast with gusts 30 to 50 km/h in Cape Breton. Winds north and northwest with gusts 50 to 70 km/h across mainland Nova Scotia.
