2 arrested in connection with weekend stabbing in Cole Harbour

A 21-year-old man was in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed at a business in Cole Harbour on Saturday.

Police say incident happened at a business on Saturday

Police have arrested two people in connection to a stabbing in Cole Harbour, N.S., on Saturday.

Halifax District RCMPsay they responded to a report of a stabbing on Cole Harbour Road at 1:29 p.m. on Saturday.

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to a newsrelease.

Police say the victim was at a retail business and was followed in by another man. The man who followed him left and returned with a woman, the release says.

The release says the man re-entered the business and stabbed the victimbefore driving off with the woman in the vehicle they arrived in.

Police say they do not believe the incident was random.

On Monday, police announced the RCMP and Halifax Regional Policearrested a 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman in connection with the case.

They are in custody and are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court Tuesday to face charges of attempt to commit murder.
