Death of 66-year-old man in Annapolis County a homicide, police say

Nova Scotia RCMPare investigating the death of a 66-year-old man from Virginia East in Annapolis County as a homicide.

No risk to public safety, say police

Nova Scotia RCMPare investigating the death of a 66-year-old man from Virginia East in Annapolis County as a homicide.

Police say they responded to a report of a sudden death at around 8:20 a.m. Saturday.

The Southwest Nova RCMPcrime unit is investigating, with support from the medical examiner service and several other RCMPdepartments.

Virginia East is about 15 kilometres south of Annapolis Royal.

Police say the investigation is just beginning and no further information will be released at this time.
