The excitement is building around Sydney'sChase the Ace as the number of cards remaining in the deck stands at only 13.

This week's jackpot is estimated to reach $430,000 and Stephen Tobin, the business development manager for the HorizonAchievement Centre, says the freezing weather hasn't impacted ticket sales at the event.

"We anticipate thousands of people will take part. Last week wesold over $260,000 worth of tickets so this week we anticipate to sell even more than that," he said.

To help organizers deal with the growing crowds, last weektwo additional ticket sale locations were added and organizers began livestreaming the event online, which is projected on 3.6-metrescreens on all six ticket sale locations.

Tobin says last week, they had over 9,000 people tuning in to watch the event from home.

The money raised from Sydney'sChase the Ace will be shared between theAshbylegion and the Horizon Achievement Centre, an organization that provides training and employment services for adults with mental disabilities.

Tobin says he has mixed emotions as to whether or not he's ready to see the ace being pulled.

"Ofcourse you're looking for someone to be the lucky winner, but onthe other hand it's a great opportunity for us to raise funds for our organization and raise the exposure of our organization," he said.

"Wehope that it doesn't go, but on the other hand, we're looking forward to someone getting at life-changing prize."

Tickets are on sale today between 2 and 5:30 p.m., with the final draw happening at 6:30 p.m.
