People without power can visit Atlantic Superstores and ask for a hot drink, snackor space to charge their phone.

GoodLife Fitness locations across the province will let in non-members use the change rooms and showers.

YMCAs across Nova Scotia are opening their doors for people in need of showers. Adults must bring photo identificationto enter the building:

  • Amherst.
  • Gottingen Street, Halifax.
  • Bayers Road Centre, Halifax.
  • Bridgewater.
  • Yarmouth.
