Woman dies, 3 from Ont. injured in Highway 103 crash

A 75-year-old woman is dead afterher van swerved into oncoming traffic on Highway 103in Hubbards, N.S. Saturday morning.

Myrtle Veinotte, 75, from Beech Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her maroon van hit an SUV carrying six occupants believed to be from Toronto.Four of them were injured and three are in critical condition.

LifeFlight brought the victims to hospital.

The highway was closed at Exit 6 backing up traffic for several kilometres. It has since reopened.
