Man, 41, charged with attempted murder after woman stabbed in Tatamagouche

A 45-year-old Tatamagouche woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed on Sunday morning.

A 45-year-old Tatamagouche woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed on Sunday morning.

According to a news release, police responded at 2:30 a.m. after a man notified them he had stabbed a woman known to him at a home on Highway 246.

The woman was taken to hospital after receiving first aid. A41-year-old Tatamagouche man was arrested at the scene, according to police.

The man is in custodyandwill appear in Truroprovincial court to facecharges that include attempted murder, the release states.
