"We're asking, how much money is going to be saved in thecourse of the term of council with the committee," Hubley said.

"We want to know that we're providing great value for the taxpayers, how many audits get completed and how many meetings attended by the members, because we encourage all members to obviously attend every meeting in order to do our business properly."

Audit report to be tabled in March

He said he paid $35 out of his own pocket for the cards andhe also asked each member to sign a card for him as a token to remember his first time as chairmanof a committee.

"So that I can put them all together in a frame," he said.

There are at least six audit committee meetings per year but there will likely be more this year, he said. Last year's audit report wasn't tabled due to the fall election, meaning it will be tabled at the meetingin March, he said.

"This year there will be two audit reports tabled so that means there will be some extra meetings," Hubley said.
