Busy ByWard Market parking garage partially reopened

After being shut down for extensive renovations in mid-March, the 290-space garage at 70 Clarence St. run by the City of Ottawa was partially reopened this morning.

The 1.6 million dollar renovation to the multistory garage was originally scheduled to be completed by early May, but repairs to the entrance ramp took longer than expected.

This morning 200 parking spots were madeavailable.

City of Ottawa officials say the entire garage will reopen when all the work is completedby the end of June.
