Multiple injuries in early morning shooting in ByWard Market

Ottawa police are investigatingafter multiple peoplewere injured in an early morning shooting on York Street.

Ottawa police are investigatingafter multiplepeoplewere injured in an early morning shooting on York Street.

Officers were called to the ByWard Market area at about 2:20 a.m. on Friday, policesaid on social media.

Three men were taken to hospital in serious but stable condition, according to paramedics. Their injuries weren't consideredlife threatening.

Later Friday morning, police said they hadreceived information that two other men many have been hurt in the shooting, but that investigators are stillworking to determine if all the injuries are connected.

Both of thosemen are in stable condition, police said, andoneattended a hospital outside of Ottawa for treatment.

Police haven't arrested a suspectand are looking for anyone who may have information or video footage of the incident.
