The CBC Street Talk team visited the streets of Rideau-Rockcliffe to speak directly with voters. What would make your neighbourhood a better place to live?

From Sept. 22 to Oct. 23, CBC Ottawa will visit the 23 electoral wards in the city of Ottawa to get the inside track on the issues people are talking about on the eve of the upcoming municipal election.

Rideau-RockcliffeWard is an east end ward that includes Manor Park, NewEdinburgh,Cummings,CFBRockcliffe,Overbrookand the surrounding neighbourhoods.The ward extends as far east as Blair Road, as far west as theRideauRiver and as far south as Highway 417.

Peter Clark, the 76-year-old incumbent, is running again. Clark was the mayor of the Township of Cumberland from 1980 to 1989 and the chair of thepre-amalgamationregional municipality ofOttawa-Carletonfrom 1991 to 1997.
