Health Canada is recalling two children's Christmas books because they may be contaminated with mould.

The books, entitled That's not my reindeerand That's not my Santa, were manufactured by a British firm in China and distributed in Canada by HarperCollins Publishers.

Health Canada says about 1,500 copies of That's not my reindeerand 80 copies of That's not my Santawere sold across Canada between July and December.

The federal agency says both are full-colourboard books with half die-cut pages featuring tactile elements.

It says consumers who bought the booksshould take them away from young children and return them where they were purchased for a full refund or credit.

The British manufacturer, Usborne Publishing, said it received one customer report of mould found in cartons of a U.K. shipment.
