Etsy, online craft retailer, makes real-world stops in Ottawa, Kingston

A major online retailer is leaving the internet realm for a real-world road trip this week, including stops in Ottawa and Kingston.

Etsy is a platform for entrepreneurs to sell handmade crafts and vintage items more than 25 million of them letting some build their business large enough to hire others to work for them.

The company is in the midst of a four-city tour through Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto so local crafters can connect with current and future shoppers.
