Former news anchor Max Keeping says he is "anxious" to finish the early stage of recovery from cancer surgery, as he sat down with CBC News for a one-on-one interview.

Keeping said he has received a lot of support through the 12.5-hour surgery, the 17 days recovering in hospital and the four weeks of care in the Valleystream Manor.

He is now at home and spoke with CBC News in a one-on-one interview, which you can see above.
