Two men arrested in the shooting death of 16-year-old Yazdan Ghiasi will have a bail hearing next week after appearingat the Ottawa courthouse by video link on Tuesday.

Khaled Wehbe, 19, and Zakaria Dourhnou, 18, both of Ottawa, were arrestedDec. 8 and charged with being an accessory after the fact, two days after Ghiasi's body was found bleeding from an apparent bullet wound on Booth Street.

Witnesses told police they heard gunfire before they saw Ghiasi's body being dumped from a car onto the street near Ottawa's Chinatown area.

The court decided Tuesday that Wehbe and Dourhnou's bail hearing would be held on Dec. 20.

Wehbe's lawyer told CBC News he's confident his client will get bail.

Another man, Abdulhamid Wehbe, 20, was charged with second-degree murder. He is set to appear in court, also by video link, on Dec. 17.

An autopsy revealed Ghiasi died from a gunshot wound. His death, the city's 10th homicide this year, is not believed to be gang-related, Ottawa police said.

Police said the killing might have been connected to the sale of a small quantity of marijuana.
