Man dies in single-vehicle crash near Portland, Ont.

A 19-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash near Portland, Ont., early Sunday morning.

According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), emergency crews were called to County Road 8east of Highway 15 shortly after 3a.m.after receiving reports of a vehicle in a ditch.

The driver from Mallorytown was found dead while a17-year-old passenger from Brockville suffered non-life threatening injures.

The cause of the crash is unknown and the investigation remains ongoing.

OPP is asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact investigators.
