An 18-year-old woman told police she was taken to the homes of two different men in one night for sex afterthey were shown a naked photo of her, an Ottawa courtroom heard Mondayduring the trial of an alleged teen prostitution ring.

In a video ofa police interview with the alleged victim, who was 17 at the time, she detailed the first time she was involved with the prostitution ring. The video was played in court, followed by her testimony.

The woman told police she met the accused through Facebook. She testified they used many different names and claimed to be cousins from Germany.

In the police interview, the woman said she was going to go to a party with the accused.

But when she arrived at the southeast Ottawa home of one of the accused girls, they took naked photos of her and asked her if she was willing to be a stripper or escort, the woman told police, before sendingone of thephotos to one man.

Man charged with sexual assault

The man then texted back, "yummy," according to the woman, and offered to pay $300 to have sex with her.

Thewoman alleges one of the accused slapped her and threatened to make her life a "living hell" if she didn't do what the menrequested.

Soon after, the man allegedly picked the girl up and drove her to his Merivale Road house.

He forced her to perform oral sex and later hadunprotectedsex with her,the court heard, before paying $180 instead of $300. The man has been charged with sexual assault related to the alleged incident.

When the two accused picked the girl up, they sent her to a second "john" because she had not obtained the $300, the woman told police. According to the alleged victim, the girls told her to put on different clothes and more makeup for the man, who she described as an "older businessman."

The teen testified he asked her to prove she was 19 years old, but that her ID was in her purse with the accused. When she couldn't quickly answer when she was born, she testified she started crying and told him what happened.

He gave her clothes, $20 in cab fare and a chocolate bar, she said.

Defence asks woman why she didn't run away

Under cross examination, defence lawyer Trevor Brown asked the teen why she didn't try and flag down a car for help, run away when thefirst johnused a bank machine, or flee once she was at his house.

She replied that she feared theaccused would hurther because they'd already slappedand threatened her.

The teen also said she wasafraid theman might also harm her.

Shetestified she couldn't call for help because she didn't have a cellphone.

Social media used

The woman is one of seven complainants involved in the trial of three girls two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old who face 74 charges including human trafficking, forcible confinement and procuring for prostitution. They were arrested in June.

Police allege the three girls used social media to befriend and lure nine girls, aged 13 to 17, to a home at a housing complex in southeast Ottawa.

None of the accused or the nine victims can be named due to provisionsin the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The Crown also alleges there are two victims that are not part of the trial. A fourth teen girl faces similar charges involving one incident, but her trial will be held at a later date.
