Man in life-threatening condition after stabbing on Baseline Road
No further threat to public safety, police say
UPDATE: Police confirmed Sunday one man has been chargedwith aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
A man has been taken to hospital in life-threatening condition following a stabbingon Baseline Roadearly Friday morning, according to the Ottawa Paramedic Service.
Paramedics saidthey were called around 5:54 a.m. to Baseline Road between Navaho Drive and Woodroffe Avenue.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said on X there is an active police operation at the scene.
