Man saved after suffering heart attack while shovelling snow
Ottawa paramedics say they resuscitated a 67-year-old man who suffered heart attack after shovelling snow on Sunday, which included snow and freezing rain.

Ottawa paramedics say they resuscitated a 67-year-old man who suffered a heart attack after shovelling snow.
Paramedics said they responded to the 1000 block of Normandy Crescent around 12:49 p.m. Sunday for someone complaining of chest pain.
When they arrived, a 67-year-old man said he started feeling the pain in his chest while shovelling snow.
Moments later, paramedics said the man went into cardiac arrest.
They began CPR procedures, including defibrillation, and soon after resuscitated the man, according to a news release.
The man was conscious and talking to paramedics on the way to hospital. He was listed in serious condition.
