Over the past few weeks, 16 people in Ontario have been diagnosed with measles and public health officials say they expect more cases will be confirmed in the province.

So far, there have been no confirmed cases in Ottawa but many people in this city have questions about the disease and how to prevent it.

Dr. Carolyn Pim, an associate medical officer of health for Ottawa Public Health, was a guest on CBC TV News at 5 p.m. to discuss the disease. She then participated in a live chat.
