OC Transpo bus driver punched in face on Easter Monday

An OC Transpo bus driver was punched in the face while driving a route in the Carlington neighbourhood on Monday, police say.

It happened while the bus was on Caldwell Avenue at Medford Street at about 5:30 p.m.

The suspect left the scene before OC Transpo special constables and police arrived.

The bus driver suffered injuries and was treated at hospital, police said.

No arrests have been made.
