Ontario Votes 2022: Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston

Randy Hillier won this district for the PCs in 2018, getting more than 50 per cent of the vote, but decided not to run againearlier this year.

The NDP candidate got just over 30 per cent of the vote, followed by the Liberal candidate with just over 10 per cent.

The New Blue candidate has been working in a management position at a consultancy for nearly 10 years.

He has a master's in forestry from the University of Toronto and a master's in disaster and emergency management from York.

Craig Timothy Massey Rogers, Independent

Thomas Mulder, Ontario Party

The Ontario Party candidate moved to South Frontenac during the pandemic.

He is a recently retired veterinarian.

Amanda Pulker-Mok, Liberal

The liberal candidate is an elementary school teacher who served as a councillor in Mississippi Mills.

She is a motherto two childrenwith her partner.

Marlene Spruyt, Green Party

The Green Party candidate is a retired chief medical officer of health and family physician who is also a lifelong environmentalist.

Her work in public health covered topics includingpoverty reduction, health equity, food insecurity, clean water and active transportation.
