OPP investigating home invasion, one person seriously injured
Police say 2 arrested, no risk to public
Ontario Provincial Police say one person has been left with serious injuries after a home invasion and robbery in Renfrew, Ont., Saturday evening.
OPP officers were called to a home on Bonnechere Street shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Aug. 24, according to a Sunday news release.
Multiple people broke into a home and assaulted the resident who was later transported to hospital and isrecovering, according to OPP.

The individuals fled with money in the victim's car. The vehicle was set on fire and laterlocated on Briscoe Road.
Two people were arrested in the area, but police suspect two others were involved.
The incident is believed to be targeted and there is no risk to the general public, according to the OPP.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Renfrew OPP or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers.
