Ottawa acts repping the 613 at the Junos

As the nation's music industry converges on Ottawa for this weekend's Juno Awards, fans of local music will be happy to know half a dozen homegrown artists are representing the 613.

Asthe nation's music industry luminaries converge on Ottawa for the Juno awards this weekend, fans of local music will be happy to knowlocal artists havecome away with several nominations.

Leading the way locally are pastwinners A Tribe Called Red, who are up for three awards, and Belly, who's up for two.

Here's a full list of local Juno award nominees:

A Tribe Called Red

Producer of the year for the track R.E.D.; video of the year forR.E.D.; electronic album of the year.

Annihilator

Metal/hard music album of the year.

Annihilator is nominated for Metal/hard rock album of the year at the Junos.

Belly

Juno fan choice award; rap recording of the year.

Daniel Taylor

Classical album of the year:vocal or choral performance.

Daniel Taylor is up for classical music recording of the year at the Junos. It's his fourth nomination.

Jenny Whiteley
