Ottawa Mission hospice expands to treat more chronically ill homeless patients

A hospice run by an Ottawa homeless shelter is expanding from 14 to 21 beds.

The extra beds were needed at The Ottawa Mission's hospicebecause more patients are suffering from chronic illnesses than in years past, when more people suffered from infectious diseases.
