Your one-stop shop for Ottawa's municipal election

Voters will be electing a new mayor and at least 11 new councillors on Oct. 24. We sent out a questionnaire and heard back from close to 100 candidates about where they stand on the city's issues. You can find links to those here.

It's shaping up to be one of the most exciting elections in Ottawa in more than a decade.

Voters will be electing a new mayor and at least 11 new councillorson Oct. 24. Candidates have been certified, and campaigns are in full swing.

You can find a complete list of candidates for councillor below, separated by ward.To help you understand who the candidates in your ward are and what they stand for,we asked them to complete a questionnaire and more than 80 responded. You can read their answers in the ward profiles.

Election day is Monday, Oct. 24, with advance voting days done.

For the first time ever, voters from across Ottawa could vote by mail. The deadline to apply for a special mail-in ballot was Sept. 16.
