Rideau-Rockcliffe incumbent faces 2nd vote in 3 years

Incumbent Rawlson King first landed the seat in a byelection in 2019. Now he is facing off against three other challengers.

Incumbent won seat in 2019 byelection

Incumbent Rawlson King first represented Ward 13 Rideau-Rockcliffe after winninga byelection in 2019. Now he is facing off against three other challengers.

King took over from Tobi Nussbaum, who won the 2018 election in the ward only to step down to takea job with the National Capital Commission less than two months into his term.

King won in a byelection in 2019 by over 100 votes and with nearly 20 per cent of the votes cast, to become the city's first Black city councillor.

He is up againstClayton Fitzsimmons, Peter Jan Karwacki and Peter Zanettethis time.
