A year-long police investigation led to a raid of a south Ottawa Hells Angels clubhouse.

Ottawa police raided two homes Wednesday, including a possible Hells Angels clubhouse and towed a motorcycle and vehicle owned by the Hells Angels.

Members of the Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU)were combing through a home at 5416 8th Line Rd. in east Ottawa, which is just off Anderson Road.

The CBC's David Gerow said he saw a motorcyle with a Hells Angel sticker and another vehicle towed from the property.

Neighbours also told CBC Newsthey believe the property is run by the Hells Angels, a worldwide biker gang and crime organization whose members usually ride Harley Davidson motorcycles.

On Wednesday morning, dozens of police officers entered that property and a residential home at 1087 Millwood Ct. in Orleans.

Witnesses said they saw one man taken away in hand cuffs from the Orleans home. A police investigator was also seen taking photos of a vehicle in front of the home.

One witness to the Orleans raid was walking his dog when he noticed there was a SWAT team in the back of his house.
