Ottawa rental Bixi bikes for sale

The National Capital Commission has announced it wants to sell its Bixi bike network.

The NCC is hoping a private company will operate the bike-sharing service.

Bixi bikes were introduced in Ottawa in 2011.

The networkhas about 250 bicycles and about 25 locations around the downtown Ottawa core and Gatineau.
