Here comes the rain again, dousing us once more. It's not good news for people living in a flood plain or near a river.

A rainfall warning is in effect for the capital with 30 to 50 millimetres expected today, falling heavy at times, which could cause some flooding in the Ottawa Valley.

Thursday's forecast calls for rain to start early in the morning along with a northeast wind gusting from 30 to 50 kilometres per hour.

We should get between 15 and 25 mm during the dayas the high reaches 5 C.

Tonight brings more rain and a chance of snow. The range of rainfall will be 10 to 20 mm and that northeast wind should continue to gust from 30 to 50 km/h with a low of 2 C.

Friday will see the snow or rain change to periods of rain in the morning, which could add up to five more millimetres. A northwest wind gusts from 30 to 50 km/h as the high reaches4 C.

Friday night looks cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of rain or snow and a low of 3 C.

Thankfully, the weekend clears up a little and warms up. Saturday has a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 9 C.

Sunday is cloudy, though, with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 10 C. The temperature stays warm next week, too.
